Finding Joy and Purpose in Motherhood
Hi, I'm Kris. I'm a wife, a stay-at-home mom, coffee enthusiast and someone who used to sing opera and work in the corporate world. Now, I sing a lot of Frozen songs and spend my days immersed in the life of my daughter — a calling I never anticipated, but one that has become the core of my identity and my life's purpose. Motherhood is the greatest blessing I've been given, and every day reminds me why this role is unmatched in its depth and meaning.
I'm a Type A, intense person, yet I strive to meet motherhood with calm, presence, and steadfast focus. My joy comes in quiet, ordinary moments: the way my baby wakes up with a smile just for me, how she seeks me out no matter where she is or who she's with, and watching her discover the world every single day. These are the moments that make life feel full.

Why I Started Daily Mama Latte
As a stay-at-home mom, I wanted a creative outlet — a place to write, reflect, and create, as I've always loved doing through song lyrics, poems, and journal entries. But more than that, I wanted to build a platform for mothers to connect, encourage one another, and celebrate the profound joy of raising children.
We live in a world that emphasizes the inconveniences and life altering realities of motherhood. Yes— being a mom is hard.
But— it can also be joyful if you allow it. That's what I want every mom to believe.
Motherhood is about more than survival or meeting expectations. At its heart, it's about loving your children so deeply that they grow up to carry that love forward — shaping the world around them with the lessons, care, and devotion you've poured in. That's the essence of being a mother: to love, to teach, and to witness that love ripple through generations.

What You'll Find Here
This blog is a space to reflect on life as a mother, share practical insights, and celebrate the beauty of the everyday. You can expect posts about:
- Breastfeeding: nursing, support, advocacy, my personal journey
- Motherhood: postpartum, mom life, parenting, IUI journey, pregnancy
- Our Home: to get to know me, my family life, recipes, etc.
My goal is simple: to help you see the joy, fulfillment, and gratitude that motherhood offers. Even on the hard days, motherhood is a privilege, a gift, and a source of immense strength if we choose to embrace it.

A Bit About Me
Before being a mother, I am a spouse to my beautiful wife and a dog mom to our two pups, Archie & Finley. We also have a guinea pig named Peach.
My wife and I were married in August of 2023. We started working with a local fertility clinic a month later, and I gave birth to our daughter, who I will refer to as Baby Bean, in November of 2024.
Before motherhood, I earned a degree in music and then switched my focus to the corporate world. My passions included singing, the outdoors, and cooking. These passions haven't gone away — they've just found a new form in my current life. I sing with our church worship band (although I'm on a slight hiatus due to breastfeeding demands), we go on walks observing nature, I cook and bake for my family, and I embrace the little routines that bring meaning and calm.
I'm stoic, direct, loyal, and resilient. I have a tough exterior, but I'm an open book if you ask the right questions. These qualities shape how I parent: intentional, steady, and full of quiet joy.
